I know you don’t like puff pieces, so forgive me for praising you in this ozempic piece:

And thanks for keeping the heat up on Fauci!

Dr Fauci is no doubt currently enjoying his profitable speaking trots to many universities during which he attempts to rewrite his history. He, and others, need to be held accountable for overlooking evidence based data and pushing political, not medical science.

Fauci clearly knew that this was a lab leak from the beginning and that it was his funding gain of function research that was culpable. Everything after that he is at least partly responsible for. Telling the truth from the beginning would have slowed the spread more than anything. Scientist would have been making a vaccine with full knowledge of exactly what virus they were up against. He is a liar. There are so many lies upon lies. Clearly, there is another agenda here. School closures are certainly a part of that agenda. Pure evil. Government and health organizations throughout the world have lost all credibility.

Vinay highlights one of Fauci's greatest malfeasances. As a retired pediatrician, it was clear to me early in the pandemic that school closures would have a devastating impact on children. It appears that Fauci, in his arrogance, never consulted developmental pediatricians or psychologists who could have advised him with expertise on this issue. You complain about puff pieces. You should get your hands or eyes on the two part interview in The New England Journal of Medicine published a few weeks ago. It is pathetically fawning avoiding all the tough questions. Everyone, especially acknowledged and self-appointed leaders in the medical establishment need to take responsibility for the errors intrinsic to the pandemic. These individuals should be leading the effort to account for the lessons learned to prepare us for better responses in the future.

I guess what stunned me was how many immunologists, biochemists and microbiologists must have known this was total overkill and yet said nothing; not just in the States but everywhere. Anders Tegnel is one of the few health officials who can hold his head up high

I have gained a lot of respect for Rand Paul over this debacle. Bright and articulate man.

Malfeasance (def.): wrongdoing or misconduct especially by a public official

e.g. The malfeasance perpetrated by Anthony Fauci and other officials during the Covid-19 pandemic of the early 2020’s had long-lasting negative effects on the citizens of the world.

There will be no contrition, apology or retribution happening. Same old same old for entrenched public officials.

He will never apologize or take accountability. A standard play in the progressive universe is to never, ever change your “ rules” . Rotate the table and place the blame onto someone or something else.

This was one of the greatest failures of BOTH NIAID and CDC. I was an adviser to private schools and school districts both, and receiving “guidance” that said, in effect, “we are not sure what to do, but stay safe and ask your middle school principal what to do” was disgraceful. And now we see the purpose of all the vague and confusing “guidance” - to avoid accountability.

How is he not in jail? And how is it that so many just toed the line?

Fauci: “I gave a public health recommendation that echoed the CDC’s recommendation...” sounds like he was messenger for the CDC, rather than the authoritative director we saw informing us of his decisions on national TV for most of 2020. I am not licensed and therefore cannot officially diagnose (DSM), but strikes me as pathological liar. He is not alone.

That's just like, your opinion, man. We know Fauci had nothing to do with school closures because he tells us so. What else do you need?
